 Everyone knows Gary Condit is implicated in the disappearance and likely death of Chandra Levy. So what remains to be seen is not whether "justice" metes out the appropriate penalty, but whether society will learn anything - about the inevitability of marital infidelity and abuse of power. Unfortunately neither outcome is very likely in this lifetime. Lets acknowledge the irrepressibility of sexual drive, particularly the male's inability to find contentment in monogamy and the thus inherent necessity of the sex industry and other pricey arrangements.
